Description: Wooden trunk with hinged domed cover. All corners mitered. Painted black with swag and spray decoration. The work of the same hand as appears on #1.38.28, 1.38.1012, 1.38.1224, 1.38.1249 and 1,38.1403. Front lock plate in place, but hasp missing. Interior lined with a plain paper, no handle on cover.
